The interpretation comes true, and Nebuchadnezzar experiences this humbling transformation. Afterward, he acknowledges God's sovereignty and power, praising Him.

Daniel Chapter 5: Belshazzar, Nebuchadnezzar's successor, holds a great feast and uses the vessels from the Jerusalem temple for his festivities. A mysterious hand appears and writes a message on the wall, which Daniel interprets as a warning of Belshazzar's downfall. That very night, Belshazzar is killed, and the Medes and Persians conquer Babylon.

Daniel Chapter 6: In this chapter, Daniel is appointed as one of three high administrators in the kingdom of Darius, a Medo-Persian ruler. Some officials scheme to have Daniel arrested by exploiting his unwavering commitment to his faith. They trick Darius into issuing a decree that forbids anyone from praying to any god other than the king for a period of time. Daniel defies the decree, continues praying to God, and is thrown into a den of lions. God miraculously saves Daniel, and Darius acknowledges God's power.
